Tony is the manager of the canteen and, apart from Stan, the only male. But he often talks about and fantasises about women so he doesn't mind this too much.
During series one he had cancer and a couple of times had to go for chemotherapy but he got better and decided to do more in life. After fancying Bren for ages, he eventually asked her out in the middle of series two and they moved to Scotland together after the canteen closed down.
Tony is quite an understanding boss and is used to the women talking about girly things such as their periods and HRT. Although he pretty much always deals with it by going for a fag on the fire escape.
