Anita is a bit dim and is often asking what things mean or mistaking them for other things.
She is a loyal girl who always tries to empathise with the other's problems. However she often causes problems too, such as when she spills orange juice on the stairs and Steve slips on it and breaks his leg.
During series two Anita is pregnant by Paul who came to decorate the canteen in series 1. She doesn't tell anybody and when the baby is born, she leaves him on the fire escape with a note asking Bren to take care of him because she is scared. But, later on, she returns to get him back.
Also during series two, she brings an inflatable mannequin of a man, who she calls Malcom, to work. She sits him in the car with her to stop theives.
